From: Lee and Pam, August 1, 2001 I grew
up 1/2 hour from the Lake. Our family was one of the first to water ski on the lake when it finally opened.
At that time there were no camping areas, and the only place to stop for a drink was a small snack shop at Seven
Points. Wow, how things have changed! We loved it then and now!
From The girls from Maryland, July 8, 2001 We, The girls from Maryland, just wanted to comment on how much fun Raystown Lake is every summer. We have been there this summer (2001) and we can't find Ranger Foor. Can you let us know where he is at these days so we can visit him there. Thanks!
From Charles Bender, July 7, 2001 Last year
my family rented a houseboat and saw the lake for the first time.
We had the most wonderful, relaxing time and the folks at 7 points
were great. We decided to make it an annual event. From Jim Hammeke, June 16, 2001 Just returned from a great vacation at Raystown Lake. We rented a 53' houseboat with hot tub and sliding board from 7 points marina and had the most relaxing and enjoyable time cruising the entire lake. The boat was in top shape and the crew at 7 points were very accomodating to our needs. There were 9 in our party and we all had a great time. Hope to be back next year!! From Rick, Michelle and Family, August 2, 2000 We have been going to "The Lake" camping
for about 10 years now. We love it there. There have been alot
of changes over the last couple of years. They've made alot of
improvements to the sites..... although I feel they should have
left some of them remain more "Tent Friendly", sometimes nicer
looking isn't neccesarily better, but it's always Beautiful,
Relaxing and Fun. We are on our way up to "The Lake" next week,
for a week of camping and boating.... I can't wait to toss Rick
around on the tube and smell the campfire. |
