Raystown Lake offers many opportunities for individuals, groups, clubs and organizations to become part of our team. Projects are available in the areas of resource protection, trail maintenance, office work, computer work, GIS/GPS opportunities, and interpretation to name a few.

Volunteer Internships are available to college students, and high school Senior Projects can be conducted at the park while the student works directly with a park ranger to complete their project.  Contact the office at 814-658-3405 to obtain more information regarding internships or senior projects.  We will be happy to work with you to develop a worthwhile and lasting project that fulfills your scholastic requirements.

Whether the reason is for personal enrichment, school requirements, or a group project, remember:   This is your land; The staff here is entrusted to protect it and insure its longevity for many future generations.  Together we can make Raystown Lake the premier place for recreational enjoyment, while insuring the healthy future of our natural resources.

Help us keep the balance between flood damage reduction, recreational opportunities and resource protection. Volunteer at your lake.
