Campers walking the path through Branch Camp area. Located on Raystown property, Branch Camp is leased and operated by Mr. Bob Moyer.  This small 27 site campground located along the river downstream of Raystown dam offers:

  • Electric service

  • Flush toilets

  • Limited showers

  • Unimproved sites

  • Riverfront sites

  • Shade & sunny sites

  • Drinking water access

  • Trail access

Limited showers.  Private showers are not available, but an outdoor shower is.

Unimproved sites.  Sites do not have a defined living or tent area.  A level area is provided, but sizes may vary.  Some sites may not accommodate a large RV or trailer.  Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring.

Trail access.  The Riverside Nature Trail (.75 mile) is accessible from within the campground.

Directions

From Route 22 just east of Huntingdon, PA, turn onto Snyder’s Run Road toward the Raystown Dam.  Stay to the left and continue onto Henderson Hollow and Point Roads towards the Raystown Dam.  Branch Camp is on the left approximately 5 miles off Rt. 22.
